The Vision

Theoris Software developed Appraisal Quality and Performance Management (AQPM) software for the residential mortgage industry to provide insight into performance and quality data for AMCs and Appraisers. AQPM is cloud based and delivered as a service (SaaS). The platform is hosted by Microsoft Azure, making it accessible, secure, and scalable for lending institutions of every size.

Meet the Team Behind AppraisalQPM

Jim Cutillo – CEO

Mr. Cutillo joined Theoris Software as CEO in January of 2016, and brings over 20 years of software and mortgage lending expertise to Theoris Software. Today he is responsible for the strategic direction of the company and its patented business intelligence-analytics software known as Vision.

Prior to joining Theoris Software, Mr. Cutillo was the founder and CEO of Stonegate Mortgage Corporation (NYSE: SGM) from 2005 to 2015. During his tenure, the company grew to 1,500 employees and $165 million in annual revenue. In October of 2013, he successfully executed an IPO.

In 2014, Mr. Cutillo was a Regional Winner and a National Finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award. He has continued his support of this program by being a judge for the Ohio Valley Region starting in 2015.

Prior to Stonegate, Mr. Cutillo held executive level positions in the software and mortgage lending industries from 1995 to 2005.

Mr. Cutillo received his B.S in Finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.


Tim Craig – Senior Analyst

Mr. Craig Joined Theoris Software in October of 2016 as a Senior Analyst. He is responsible for implementation of new clients and all data processing and analysis that contribute to the end user’s experience.

Prior to Theoris Software, Mr. Craig spent 4 years as a Financial Analyst at Stonegate Mortgage. In conjunction with senior management, he led all financial analysis related to both the distributed and direct retail channels. Prior to Stonegate, he played a major role at RenPSG in developing the institutional platform used by Renaissance Charitable Foundation.

Mr. Craig holds a B.S. in Finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.


Jason Wills – Senior Product Manager

Mr. Wills joined Theoris Software in November of 2016, bringing with him over 15 years of Information Technology experience. He is responsible for product management, release management, and quality assurance testing across all vertical markets.

Prior to joining Theoris Software, Mr. Wills worked for Stonegate Mortgage where he was responsible for maintaining and customizing the main application that supported the company’s revenue of over $100M. Before joining the Stonegate team, Mr. Wills worked for a local national marketing company where he helped design and build the application that supported the company’s operations.

Mr. Wills received his B.S. in Business from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 2001, concentrating in Computer Information Systems. In 2008, he went back to school and received his M.B.A., also from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, double-majoring in Supply Chain Management and Marketing.

Mr. Wills has volunteered in his community’s youth sports program since 2013.


Christa Cappel – Senior Business Analyst

Ms. Cappel joined Theoris Software in April of 2017 as a Senior Business Analyst. She brings over 13 years of IT business analysis and accounting experience to the team. She is responsible for requirements gathering, quality assurance testing, and user documentation for AppraisalQPM.

Prior to joining Theoris Software, Ms. Cappel was employed with Stonegate Mortgage where she worked closely with the Retail and Compliance teams to build out custom functionality within the Loan Origination platform. She was also responsible for implementing various integrations between multiple systems and creating custom reports used by upper management. In addition, she was a part of the team responsible for customizing the origination software to support the TILA/RESPA Integrated Disclosure Rule. Before joining Stonegate Mortgage, Ms. Cappel worked for the State of Indiana in various accounting and auditing roles, eventually becoming the Director of Trust Fund Accounting for the Department of Workforce Development.

Ms. Cappel has a B.S. in Accounting and Advertising from Ball State University.
